The Lewis Motors Turbo’s entered the Lynn Brown Netball Tournament which took place on Sunday 10th of April with 24 teams in total. After 5 games the Turbo’s qualified for the play offs for the ‘plate’. Now further pool game won saw the girls make it into the semi final.

They put their heads down and kept their cool hooting their way into the final. The Turbo’s played Albion a team from Leyland in the final. At full time it was a draw, after a further 2 minutes play it was still a draw. Fantastic shooting by Claire Upton and an amazing intercept by Louise Wills saw the girls finally clinch the win. It was a fantastic team effort all day with everyone taking their turn on court and for once the sun was shining.

Presentation evening is the 22nd of April and the Lewis Motors Office will be sporting a new trophy in the reception area.

On Tuesday 12th of April the girls commenced the summer season in Division Two unfortunately their bodies hadn’t recovered from the weekend and they lost.

The girls play Tuesdays outdoors at Stanley park at 7 or 8pm until the end of August for the summer.
